Kamp Keirsey is owned by Osage River Baptist Association. It is located on 22.6 acres of land 3 miles east of Amsterdam, MO on Route J. The land was donated by the John Ephland Family and is named for Marvin Keirsey, Director of Missions 1971-1981.
In His Care, Wendell Teagarden
The Schell City First Baptist Church Vacation Bible School blessed Kamp Keirsey this year by donating their VBS offerings to Kamp. They raised over $1200, which has been used to purchase 4 cases of pew Bibles for the chapel, as well as a case of Bibles to be given to campers who don't have their own. The generosity of this caring church family is very much appreciated!

As many of you already know, Wendell Teagarden is retiring in September after 21 years at Kamp Keirsey. Curtis Townley, ORBA's DOM, would like to know if anyone out there has 1 or more camp T-shirts from Kamp Keirsey between the years 1995 and 2016 that are in reasonably good shape that you would be willing to sacrifice for a quilt for Wendell? He just came up with this idea on July 12 and would like the quilt to be done by September 18 if possible. We would need the T-shirts brought by the office at 201 N. Willow by the end of July. Call 660-679-5621 or bring the t-shirt by the office at 201 N. Willow if you would be willing to help.
At a special Executive Board Meeting on Monday, July 11, 2016, Bill Perkins of Butler, MO was called to follow Wendell Teagarden as Kamp Keirsey's Manager. Bill will be working with Wendell through September starting on Tuesday, July 12. Bill is from Butler, MO and attends Buter FBC. If you are out by the camp, you might stop by and say "Hi!"
The 2016 camp flyer & registration forms are now available in the infor center. Check our the flyer for the camp dates and then get the registration forms filled out for the camp of your choice!
