WELCOME DR.WOODY WILSON
It was my pleasure to welcome ORBA’s new DOM Dr. Woody Wilson to Kamp Keirsey. Accompanied by Dr. Terry Davis, Pastor of FBC Butler, we toured the campgrounds showing Brother Woody all that God has blessed our association with. I am looking forward to partnering with Brother Woody in using Kamp Keirsey to further the Kingdom of God.

Cliff and Rhonda Bennett Have lived on site at Kamp Keirsey for the last 7 ½ years mowing and managing the landscape making our kamp beautiful. Cliff is retiring at the end of the month. Thank you Cliff and Rhonda for your service. You will be greatly missed.

2018 Kamp season
We had an incredible camp season this year. The Lord gave us 12 salvations, and 3 rededications.
Thank you to all of our directors for your service to our youth. Kamp Keirsey would not be able to carry out Gods mission without the cooks, lifeguards, nurse, summer missionaries, counselors and other staff. Thank you all for a great summer.
Kamp Work Day
A work day has been scheduled for September 29th from 8-4 at Kamp Keirsey. Bring a sack lunch. Drinks and snacks will be provided. We will be painting, cleaning, and building.
ORBA Picnic
Come join us in celebrating “50 years of Kamping” on September 16th at the ORBA picnic at Kamp Keirsey. Carry-in dinner starts at 5pm. The fun includes a history table, Speakers, food, music, and FIREWORKS! Go to osageriverba.com or kampkeirsey.com to print out a flyer.

KAMP KEIRSEY LIAISON PROGRAM
li·ai·son . A person who acts as a link to assist communication or cooperation between groups of people.
Here is how the program works: One person from each church will act as the Kamp liaison to promote Kamp activities, distribute Kamp news and information, recruit workers for specific projects, and encourage the other church members to take an active role in our association’s Kamp. We are truly blessed to have our own camp and I believe this program will help unite ORBA around its historical Kamp. So far we have 16 of our 30 churches represented. If you would like to represent your church please call me at 660-679-1004.

We have reached our goal of $20,000 for the upgrade to our beloved chapel. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of the donations above and beyond your regular Kamp giving. Campers on Mission will be here to do most of the work in May. Call me at 660-679-1004 if you would like to help work on the chapel.

The 2018 Associational Kamp schedule is complete and available at www.kampkeirsey.com. Updated changes have been made to both the 2018 registration form and the CAMPER RULES.
Please encourage your campers to pre-register to take advantage of the early registration fee.
50 YEARS OF KAMPING
The 50 year anniversary committee is being formed to work on the celebration to be held during the ORBA picnic at Kamp Keirsey on September 16th. Please contact Bill Perkins at

Thank you to Schell City Baptist Church for inviting me to speak during their Sunday night service. I had a great time talking about Kamp Keirsey and also sharing a Gospel message. If you would like me to visit your church and share about Kamp Keirsey please call and we’ll set up a time.
We will have a WORK DAY at Kamp Keirsey on Saturday November 11th from 8-4. Please bring your tools and a sack lunch. Drinks will be provided.
